Synopsis
Crunchyroll describes the synopsis of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes as:
Koichi Haimawari is a dull college student who aspires to be a hero but has given up on his dream. Although 80% of the world’s population has superhuman powers called Quirks, few are chosen to become heroes and protect people. Everything changes for Koichi when he and Pop☆Step are saved by the vigilante Knuckleduster and get recruited to become vigilantes themselves!

Plot of Main Series – My Hero Academia
My Hero Academia is the main series from which the spin-off, My Hero Academia: Vigilantes is based upon.
The main series consists of 7 completed seasons with the final season (season 8) premiering in the fall of 2025.

Kohei Horikoshi is credited with the original concept of the manga. The story is written by Hideyuki Furuhashi and the art is done by Betten Court.
The English version of the manga is published by VIZ Media and the first volume was released on May 22, 2018.

Koichi Haimawari couldn’t make the cut to become an official hero, so he uses his modest Quick to do good deeds in his spare time. Then one day a fateful encounter with some local thugs leads him to team up with two other unlikely heroes. Closing Thoughts…
I love watching the main series, My Hero Academia. I remember first watching it my senior year of high school after my best friend had recommended it to me – and boy, I’m so glad I did. The world and characters are so much fun, it’s an action-packed, inspiring show!
I’m looking forward to this spin-off series! I’m already getting great vibes from it! It’ll be interesting watching from the perspective of vigilantes! In the end, they want to fight crime just as much as heroes!
