The Hana-Kimi anime is being adapted from the shojo romance manga by Hisaya Nakajo. The series will stream on Crunchyroll; however, a release date has yet to be announced. An official teaser trailer has been released and the main Japanese voice cast has been announced.

Hana-Kimi is an upcoming anime adapted from the shojo romance manga of the same name by Hisaya Nakajo. The original manga series was published by Hakusensha from September 1996-August 2004 in the Hana to Yume manga magazine.
Hana-Kimi has previously been adapted into live-action TV dramas that premiered in Taiwan (2006), Japan (2007 & 2011), and South Korea (2012). It hasn’t received a prior anime.
The release date and main staff for the anime adaptation have yet to be released publicly. The series will stream on Crunchyroll.
Plot
According to VIZ Media the plot of Hana-Kimi is as follows:
Japanese-American track-and-field star Mizuki has gotten herself to transfer to a high school in Japan…but not just any school! To be close to her idol, high jumper Izumi Sano, she’s going to an all-guys’ high school…and disguising herself as a boy! But as fate would have it, they’re more than classmates…they’re roommates! Now, Mizuki must keep her secret in the classroom, the locker room, and her own bedroom. And her classmates-and the school nurse-must cope with a new transfer student who may make them question their own orientation…

Closing Thoughts…
I’ve always been a fan of romance anime and so when I learned about Hana-Kimi I was excited to learn more about this upcoming anime! I can’t wait to watch it on Crunchyroll! Until then, I’ll have to patiently wait for its release.
